Bride of the Month: Abbey
When my husband and I first got engaged we immediately knew that we wanted a beach wedding. As soon as we picked Jamaica I envisioned all the beautiful tropical flowers I could have in my bouquet. In planning our wedding and receiving the floral brochure I was so disappointed! All the bouquet choices were so boring and none of them matched the colors in our wedding.....plus they were so expensive for not a lot of flowers.
I thought of making my own with silk flowers but honestly I had no idea how and all the silk flowers I had ever seen looked cheap. I was getting frustrated and feeling disappointed when my best friend (and maid of honor) and I were in a local bridal store and saw a post card for Everlasting Bouquets.
I immediately called Dawn and explained my dilemma to her. Right away she started problem solving and assured me we could make it beautiful. To be honest, I was doubtful about the look of the silk flowers. To ease my mind she took my best friend and I to the flower wholesale house and I was pleasantly surprised! The silk flowers not only looked real, they felt real! I was able to pick out my own flowers and Dawn listened to exactly what I wanted.
A week before we left for Jamaica I went to Dawn's to look at my bouquets. They were absolutely beautiful! They were exactly what I had envisioned for my beach wedding and matched our colors perfectly! Dawn was able to make my dream wedding a reality. It was the most amazing day and we got more complements on our flowers than I can count! Dawn is amazing and I will go to her with all my flower needs! And I would send all my friends to her too!
