FAQS - Our most frequently asked questions about preserved flowers.

What is a preserved flower?

Preserved flowers are definitely real flowers, not freeze-dried. After growing just like any other flower and being picked by the growers, they are systemically preserved by a glycerin solution and other additives to prevent spoilage and keep them soft and looking fresh as the day picked. Dyes are also applied to keep that vibrant color. They will have that beautiful scent as well.

Does Everlasting Bouquets preserve a fresh bouquet?

NO. This is done by a preservation company and can be quite expensive. This process is more costly than the price of the original bouquet.

Is there a price difference between Fresh flowers and preserved?

Answered the best I can is if I did a bouquet with 12 fresh roses and one with 12 preserved roses there would be a slight increase for the preserved but one bouquet would last a couple days maybe, and the preserved would last years. What a beautiful memory of that most important day of your life.

How long will my preserved flowers last?

Like your wedding photos, they need to be kept in a cool, dry room away from sunlight, high humidity, or high heat as in an attic. I give each bride a simple recipe to use. With these simple steps they should last for years.

Can I have my bouquet done preserved and other flowers fresh?
